SYDNEY LEA is Poet Laureate of Vermont. His tenth collection of poems is  I Was Thinking of Beauty (Four Way Books, 2013). Six Sundays Toward a SeventhSelected Spiritual Poems was published in 2012 (Wipf and Stock). His 2011 collection is Young of the Year (Four Way Books). In 2012, the University of Michigan Press issued A Hundred Himalayas, a sampling from his critical work over four decades. A North Country Life: Tales of Woodsmen, Waters and Wildlife (Skyhorse Publishing), a third volume of outdoor essays, appeared in the same year. In April 2013, Autumn House Press presented an e-book of essays,  
Growing Old in Poetry: Two Poets, Two Lives. Written in collaboration with former Delaware Poet Laureate Fleda Brown, this collection shows the two poet-friends taking turns at musing on the tastes, affections, obsessions, and even dislikes that let them to their art. Four Way Books will publish his eleventh volume of poetry, No Doubt he Nameless, in 2015.
